DraftBuoy recovers text you typed into web forms after a reload, crash, or closed tab. Form drafts stay on your device. Core recovery does not upload form contents.
Eligible field text plus hostname, page URL/title, field labels, timestamps, and settings are stored in IndexedDB / chrome.storage.local.
Passwords, cc-* payment fields, CVV/IBAN/SSN/OTP-like fields, hidden fields, and Incognito browsing.
Optional Pro license verification may send only the license key to the license API. No draft text is transmitted. No analytics SDKs.
Stripe processes Pro payments. Local drafts are independent of Stripe.
Delete drafts in the UI anytime; configure retention; uninstall removes extension storage per Chrome rules.
